What is Demelan Cream used for?

Demelan Cream is a dermatological medication prescribed and used for acne, scars, skin discoloration, skin hyperpigmentation, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, sun damaged skin, etc.

Demelan Cream contains glycolic acid, arbutin and kojic acid. The cream can increase cell turnover and help to reduce pigments, wrinkles, pores, any signs of skin aging and skin impairments.

Apply only small amount of Demelan Cream to the affected area exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

 

What are the side effects of Demelan Cream?

Common side effects of Demelan Cream may include:

- dryness

- irritation

- mild burning

- stinging

- itching

- redness

If you experience severe side effects, seek medical assistance as soon as you can. 

Precautions: 

  • Demelan Cream is for external use only. 
  • Avoid contact of the cream in or near your eyes and/ or mouth.
  • Exposure to sunlight or UV light will cause repigmentation of bleached area. Avoid sun exposure during the period of treatment of Demelan and for at least one week afterwards.
  • Demelan Cream should not be used in pregnancy or when breastfeeding.
